  7. Hi Andy I'm hoping you can answer this question for me. I'm a 40 year old UK citizen running a Ltd company offering property maintenance and handyman man services in and around London. I learnt all of the skills set I offer from on site experience over the years and anything that doesn't fall under my skills set I use subcontractors for. Now my question to you is this - I want to relocate my Ltd company to Australia but as my skills are all learnt from site work and NOT having any qualifications like NVQ's etc I fall short of the points scoring system for Australia. I have spoken to a migration expert and he seems to think that after you have been trading as a Ltd company in the UK you can then apply for a visa which applies to this and move your Ltd company there even if you don't score enough points? Is this right and how would the whole process work. Regards. Question from Peter Hunter on 21/01/2016

This is a complex subject email me on andy@angloaus.com or call me on 07836 722840.

  9. Dear Mr.Moore. I have run a bakery business in Bristol, UK for 20 years, in which my daughter worked for several years. My daughter and her husband are looking to move to Australia, and their first avenue was to try to get sponsored by an employer in the field they work in at present. This has proved difficult. They have wondered about a change of plan, and have decided to look into buying a cafe /deli/food business or franchise in Australia. Is this a plan which could get them a permanent visa? They are in their late 20's and my involvement is a willingness to help them financially' Regards. Marcus Wells Question from marcus wells on 30/04/2015

  10. Mr. Moore, We own a business in the Mining Sector in Canada. We believe that 2013 is the right time for an expansion towards Australia. Aside from needing an Australian resident as a director (I read the other posts), is there a minimum cash amount that must be injected that is required? How long would you evaluate the proceedings with the government can take before one is allowed to begin doing business (permission to do business & registration). Question from Daniele Charlton on 05/09/2013

    Andy says:

    Dear Sir

Please send me your contact details including email address to andy@angloaus.com, also current size of your business in turnover and number fo employees and I can provide you with some answers.

  19. Dear Andy We have been recruiting nurses from a number of countries including Australia for some time. We now want to set up a company in Oz. Within Australia we will interview, screen and place the candidates. I have looked into the subject and from what I have read the process seems to be time cosuming. Are there any short cuts? We have the demand, a business plan and finances, it is just the duration that is putting us off. Kind regards, Tom Peters Question from Tom Peters on 06/08/2010

My experience and expertise is business you need to investigate what visas are available to you for your age and qualfications I have had a look and nothing is available in the business category, you can get a 1 year working visa for under age 30 years and/or try to get sponsorship from an Employer/family/ Australian state or Government. Alternatively continue your studies in Australia and apply for a Student Visa. This answer is based on the limited information you have provided and I am not a migration expert, but may I suggest you contact a migration specialist who can assess you.
If I can help further email me direct on andy@angloaus.com.
    Good luck

Not difficult at all if you know what is required like the UK there are a few regulatory issue that need dealing with but in certain instances Australia is easier.
Yes you can set a limited Company up in Australia just like the UK there are a few differences and it is a little more expensive than you can get them for in the UK.
